The Newfoundland Growlers return home with a chance to clinch the series on home ice after dropping two-of-three games on the road in Brampton for a crucial game six against the Beast in the North Division Semifinals.

The Brampton Beast scored early and often en route to an 8-2 victory Saturday afternoon at the CAA Centre to force a game six. The Beast put up three in the first period, but the Growlers showed no quit scoring two in the second period for a 3-2 game after 40 minutes. The third period however was all Brampton, as they scored five unanswered goals. Marcus Power and Josh Kestner scored for Newfoundland. David Pacan led the way for Brampton with four points. Michael Garteig made 17 saves for the Growlers, and Etienne Marcoux made 42 for the Beast.
