The Newfoundland Growlers wrapped up a busy weekend with a 6-4 win over the Adirondack Thunder on Sunday evening at Cool Insuring Arena.

Derian Plouffe ensured Newfoundland would be out in front after 40 minutes as he banged one with 22 seconds left to give the Growlers a 4-3 lead.

Ryan Smith temporarily tied it at 4-4 with 10:24 left in the game but the Growlers needed just 53 seconds to regain their lead as Skirving found his second of the game to make it 5-4 Newfoundland.
