Growlers Gear partners with Civic Duty

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers are proud to announce that community-driven business owner Jon Loder of CIVIC DUTY & relic supply has signed on to handle the club’s merchandise operations effective immediately.

Borrowing from Loder’s many years of retail experience in the metro St. John’s area, the Growlers are excited to offer an improved customer service experience, both online at shop.nlgrowlers.com and in-person inside the Growlers team store at the Mary Brown’s Centre.

Loder and CIVIC DUTY, located at 181 Water St in downtown St. John’s, have been staples of the downtown retail scene since opening their first pop-up shop in December 2015. Specializing in locally inspired items and socially conscious business practices, Loder and CIVIC DUTY look to be a great fit for the Growlers and their community-minded approach to all areas of business.

The Growlers store, both online and at the Mary Brown’s Centre, will be offering a combination of classic, fan-favourite merchandise and apparel, such as jerseys, hats and sweaters, in addition to a variety of new offerings in line with the values shared by the Growlers and CIVIC DUTY

Loder and his team have already assumed merchandise operations for the club and new offerings will be available soon at shop.nlgrowlers.com.
