The Newfoundland Growlers look to stay perfect on the road when they visit the Trois-Rivières Lions at Colisée Vidéotron for the third time in six nights.
Newfoundland comes back to Trois-Rivières fresh off a 3-2 win away to the Adirondack Thunder at Cool Insuring Arena on Saturday night. The Lions last played on Friday evening at home losing 3-1 to this same Growlers team, a night after the visitors also came away with a 6-3 win in both teams’ first games of the season.
Bobby McMann has led the way offensively so far for the unbeaten Growlers with four points through three games played. Arsen Khisamutdinov has a team-best two points for Trois-Rivières through their first two contests.

WHO TO WATCH:
NFL - Noel Hoefenmayer (D): A former Arizona Coyotes draft pick (2017, 4th round) and standout offensive defenseman during his time with the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s, Hoefenmayer scored his first goal as a Growler last time out against Adirondack. With two points in his first three games with the team, the 22-year-old is proving a welcome addition to the backend in early days.
TR - Kevin Poulin (G): With 355 games played in 12 seasons as a pro, including 50 appearances in the NHL for the New York Islanders, Poulin is one of the most experienced netminders in the ECHL.
