Growlers Announce 2019-2020 Promotional Schedule

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and Toronto Marlies (AHL), are pleased to announce that the club will offer a wide variety of theme nights and promotions this season featuring giveaways and unique partnerships created to enhance the fan experience.

October

Friday, October 11th – Molson Opening Weekend - Championship Banner Raising

The Kelly Cup Celebration continues on opening night when the Championship Banner is raised to the rafters of Mile One Centre, be there to witness this historic moment in Newfoundland Sports history.

Saturday, October 12th – Mini Championship Banner Giveaway

Every Fan will receive a mini replica version of our Kelly Cup Championship Banner.

Friday, October 18th – Kelly Cup Championship Ring Ceremony

Watch as the returning members of the Championship team receive their Kelly Cup Championship ring during an on-ice pregame ceremony. Baron Rings will be on the concourse with a selection of Growlers Championship Rings for purchase.

One Lucky fan will recieve an authentic Championship Ring!

Saturday, October 19th - Team Calendar Night

Every fan will receive a 2019-2020 Growlers Wall calendar. Baron Rings will be on the concourse with a selection of Growlers Championship Rings for purchase.

November

Friday, November 8th – Student Tuition Giveaway Night

One lucky student will walk away with a voucher a semester worth of tuition, up to $1500. Special $15 student pricing will be in effect, with valid student ID.

 Saturday, November 9th – Military Appreciation

The Newfoundland Growlers honour those involved in the armed forces leading into Remembrance Day. Join us pre-game for a special puck drop along with a Color Guard ceremony.

Saturday, November 16th – Hockey Fights Cancer

Growlers fans attending the game will have the opportunity to personalize "I Fight For" cards prior to the start of the game through the first intermission.

December

Friday, December 6th- DC Comics Night

DC Comics takes over the Newfoundland Growlers, the night will feature yet to be announced limited edition specialty jerseys, a fan costume contest and a number of DC Comics-themed giveaways.

Saturday, December 7th- NTV Teddy Toss & St. John’s Maple Leafs Throwback Night

The St. John’s Maple Leafs return to Mile One Centre as the Growlers will wear limited-edition throwback jerseys from the 1991-1992 season. NTV Teddy Toss will be featured during the first intermission and fans are invited to bring a teddy bear to donate to those in need during the holiday season.

Tuesday, December 31st- New Year’s Eve Game Featuring Nickelodeon-4 PM puck Drop-

Nickelodeon takes over the Newfoundland Growlers, the night will feature yet to be announced limited edition specialty jerseys, New Year’s Eve light show, a fan costume contest, kid-friendly mascots on the concourse, face painting and the first 500 fans will receive a Growlers Tuxedo themed t-shirt.

January

Tuesday, January 14th- Student Tuition Giveaway Night

February

Friday, February 14th- Valentine’s Day

Make it a date night when the Growlers take on the Maine Mariners. Valentine's day ticket specials, themed prizes, contests and giveaways to be announced soon!

Saturday, February 15th- Scouts Night

The Growlers welcome members of the Scouts where a number and special Scouts themed activities will be featured throughout the night. Scouts and their families will receive special pricing for this game, speak to your scout leader for more information.

March

Tuesday, March 17th- St. Patrick’s Day

The First 500 fans will receive a limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt.

Wednesday, March 27th- Marvel Night

Marvel takes over the Newfoundland Growlers, the night will feature yet to be announced limited edition specialty jerseys, a fan costume contest, Marvel characters will be on the concourse for photos and a number of Marvel themed giveaways.

Saturday, March 28th- Fan Appreciation Night

We celebrate the final home game of the regular season with a number of Growlers giveaways and special fan moments. More information to be released later in the season.

Every Night is Student Night

Every game this season will feature a special $15 student ticket (Plus taxes and Surcharges), with Valid Student ID. The Newfoundland Growlers are the perfect way to break up your study schedule.
