Growlers Acquire Robert Powers from Atlanta

ST. JOHN'S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, have announced that defenceman Robert Powers has been acquired from Atlanta Gladiators to complete the trade that sent Reid Jackman from the Growlers to the Gladiators on January 2, 2020.  Powers, 25, has 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) in 35 games played with the Gladiators this season. The Ajax, ON native split the 2018-19 season between the Indy Fuel and Worcester Railers where he recorded 5 goals and 19 assists for 24 points in 61 games.
